We the sons and daughters of Asante Adehyeman of Ghanaian decent, and sympathizer residents in the State of Texas, being aware of our traditions, customs, cultural heritage, and our social and developmental needs, in pursuit of happiness, economic and social progress, and peace with all people comit ourselves to this Association.
The Adehyeman association membership is open to Asante citizens, all Ghanaians who are willing to uphold and defend the constitution and actively participate in the affairs of the Association and the General Public who believe and accept our course.
Aims & Objectives.
The aims and objectives of the Asante Adehyeman Association of DFW shall be;
01.
To unite all members together and create a better relationship among ourselves.
02.
To promote social, moral, educational, and the general welfare of members and their dependents and forge social networking and support for the members.
03.
Providing a source of cultural enrichment and promote interest, inform, and educate the general community about our culture.
04.
Organize periodic workshops to educate members on pertinent issues, such as our heritage, legal immigration issues, health, employment, insurance, and investments.
05.
Supporting Asante Adehyeman development projects by motivating and educating members to financially support education, health and other social programs in our communities here in the United States and our home country Ghana.
06.
Creating a better relationship between “Adehyeman” and the local community by engaging in voluntary services in the community and to work closely with other Ghanaian Associations.
